PRIVACY & GDPR

Here at GW Fieldwork we value all those who participate in our projects and want to ensure your data is kept safe and secure. GW Fieldwork are ICO registered and fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and this privacy notice explains how we use your data as well as lots of other useful information.

How We Use Your Information

GW Fieldwork receives information obtained from individuals who have agreed to take part in a specific market research project or those who have agreed to be informed of future projects they may be interested in. Each project is different and hence the type of data we receive will differ from project to project. However, all the data we receive is from the screening answers given to us by the individual (either directly or through a third party) so there should not be any nasty surprises about the data we receive and use.

It is necessary for us to sometimes share some of this information with our clients and other suppliers, such as market research venues, who we are collaborating with on a project. Please rest assured that all our clients and suppliers are also GDPR compliant and all personal data received and shared is kept confidential. We only share the necessary details and all those involved solely use/view the data for the specified project.

Once a project is finished we then hold an individual’s data for 3 months in case of any project related queries. Once this 3-month period has expired we delete all of the personal data we held from our system.

Data Security

Before sharing any data with our clients and/or suppliers we ensure the data is secured with a unique password. This password is then only shared with the relevant parties involved in the project.

Access To Your Personal Data

While we hold your data you are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. If you would like to do so, please email your request to: gareth.walters@gwfieldwork.com

Changes to this Privacy Notice

We will regularly be reviewing our policies regarding personal data and any changes will be made clear on this page of our website.
